Celebrating Dr. Mary Lou Luebbe-Gearhart, Au.D
Expertise, legacy, and deep community roots aren’t mentioned much anymore. But that’s the foundation on which Dr. Mary Lou Luebbe-Gearhart — and her father before her — built Luebbe Hearing Services.
Dr. Mary Lou’s father established Luebbe Hearing Services in 1946 to help WWII veterans with hearing loss. When he passed on April 17, 1973, she became company president. Now, 50 years later, her leadership, vision, and inspiration have made Luebbe Hearing Services a central Ohio institution.
Since assuming ownership of the original office, Dr. Mary Lou has shepherded the practice through its growth and eventual expansion. Now, more than 75 years since its humble beginnings, Luebbe Hearings Services has three thriving locations and even a well-known radio jingle: “Luebbe Hearing Services – You’ll Hear What You’ve Been Missing!” What’s more, Dr. Mary Lou is a recognized name; she’s been featured in books offering inspirational stories of successful business leaders!
That’s what makes Luebbe Hearing Services such a fixture in the greater Columbus area. It’s not often you sit across from a hearing care provider with such extensive expertise, deep knowledge, and wealth of experience. You could say hearing care is a family tradition!
Because that’s what truly matters in hearing care — the experience, compassion, and knowledge of a professional skilled in the art and science of hearing care. Otherwise, all you have is a gadget.
Congratulations, Dr. Mary Lou, on 50 years of leadership, vision, and inspiration!
